Microsoft has officially released the .NET 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008.

I know again what you are worrying to download new product of Microsoft .NET... as have previous experience with old versions of Microsoft .NET technologies. Earlier if you want to run .NET 1.x we need Visual Studio 2003 and to work with .NET 2.0 you need Visual Studio 2.0 and even you can not use both the versions in VS 2005. It clearly tells Visual Studio 2005 does not support Multi Targeting Compilation. But now this time you know need to worry about this and should say thanks to Microsoft, because. Visual Studio 2008 supports both Multi-Targeting Compilation and Side By Side Execution. Hi, its me again
This is first commt after signing out of google

ok.. same url, diffrent browesr window, capche image is fine..form shows up when i move the mouse over it
this is 3rd comment .. all these 1-3 cmts from FFox.. will try again at IE..

captche image appears fine this time
2nd from ie.. without refreshing the page ( ie not hovering above captche image)
3rd from new ie window.. captche image appears ok..and comt form shows up without any error still out of google

I'm looking for a way to install the .NET 3.0 SP1 framework on a non-networked standalone machine.
I could go to .NET 3.5 full package, but at 197 MBytes, it so much bigger than the 3.0 package at 50 MBytes.
Any ideas?
this page about VS2008's Multi-Targeting Compilation right from version .net framework 1.0 to 3.5.
But when in my VS2008 it shows only 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5.
Has anybody was succesful in using VS2008 to develop web apps for .net 1.0?
